Making judgements about books is easy! But defending our opinions, giving reasons why we like something, and persuading others that it is good takes skill.

Last week we enjoyed World Book Day and I hope it got you thinking about your favourite books. Your homework this week is to pick a book you have read and write the blurb to go on the back of its cover. This is a description which makes someone picking it up really want to read it.
