The children learnt about the distance of the planets from the sun and had the additional challenge of creating a scale model using toilet roll.

They had to calculate the distance one sheet would be to place their planets correctly in relation to each other.

Their original scale meant they needed over 400 sheets but after some more maths we got it down to them only needing around 40 sheets to create their models.
