Hello!

This week I am sending the children home with some English and topic homework.

Their English homework is to write a diary entry from the viewpoint of a British Solider fighting in World War 2. Children can use their imagination as to what scenario they are in!

Their topic homework is to imagine they have 30 minutes to pack a suitcase before they are evacuated to the Countryside. What 5 items would they take with them – children can either write or draw their response.

Year 6 have also been given a selection of ’10 minute tests’ to complete as best they can.
If the children could work through these independently and we will go through the answers either in SATs club or in lesson.
