This week your homework is to show me what you have learnt in maths recently on rounding numbers.

I want you to design and make a poster showing that you understand how to round numbers to the nearest 10 and / or 100. Make this poster so that it teaches someone who doesn’t know what rounding is. Explain what rounding numbers means, give up to 3 examples of rounding to the nearest 10 and 100 and give examples of where rounding is used in real life.

Keep your poster simple. Make it attractive, think about spacing out.Use colours to highlight or show particular digits which need focussing on. For a poster, you do not need to use joined up writing, but it must be very neat and large enough to read clearly. The best ones will go on display.

This homework is due in, on or before next Monday, 16th October.
