You have all chose authors for your Guided reading groups; Jeff Kinney, David Walliams, Roald Dahl and Philip Ridley. Your homework this week is to find out more about the author from your group. You will have to search on the internet or look in one of their books if you have one at home.

Find out where and when they were born .Research their childhood or early life. Make a list of some of the books they have written.  Briefly describe what type of children’s  books they write. Add any other interesting information you find out.

Remember to use your very best writing. Use a pencil or black pen. Don’t forget your capital letters and full stops in the right places.

Draw a picture of them or one of their books.

This homework is due in on or before next Friday, 15th September.
