This week your homework is to find out about trees found in this country.
Make a list of 10 trees from Great Britain. You can write the list with commas going across the page or use bullet points going down the page.
After that, choose one tree to focus on to find out more about. Research how tall the tree might grow, how old they get before they die and where they like to grow.
Draw and / or describe the leaves. Find out what birds or animals might live in the tree. Draw and / or describe the fruit which comes from the tree.
Finally give me any other interesting information about the tree.
Think about how to present this work well. Perhaps use sub headings or have lots of different information coming from a picture of the tree. You decide how you can make it look really good. Give your work a title. Use your very best joined up handwriting, with capital letters to start sentences ( the type of tree does not need a capital letter).
Include at least one picture in your homework.
This homework is due in on or before next Friday, 29th September.
