This week I want you to write a fable.

There is a well known fable by Aesop called The Wind and the Sun. I want you to find out the story and then write it in your own words. This writing should be about a page long. A fable has a message; so your final one sentence paragraph should be the message we learn.

Remember to use your best neat joined up writing. Use different punctuation, including some speech. You also need to use paragraphs which have more than one sentence in.

Draw a nice picture to go with the story at the end.
