In Maths this week Year 1’s have been practising counting to 100, from any given number. We have also been saying the number 1 more / 1 less than a given number. Have a go at using the spinners to say the number that is 1 more / 1 less. You can even type in your own numbers! Click here

In Literacy Year 1’s have been writing up their party invitations as well as writing lists.

Reception have also been writing lists of things they would need for a party. We tried really hard to sound the words out and form our letters carefully. In Maths Reception have been focusing using the vocabulary ‘higher’ and ‘lower’, ‘more’ and ‘less’ to describe numbers.
