This week our focus book has been ‘The Three Little Pigs’.

In Maths we have been focusing on positional direction and language. Reception have been learning about prepositions (over/through/under/on) as well as learning left and right. Year 1 have been applying their knowledge of directions by giving instructions to a friend who has been blindfolded!

Reception’s topic has focused on the Celebration of ‘Diwali’ this week. We have been learning the story of Rama and Sita and making clay diva’s. We have also made a traditional Diwali sweet – Coconut Barfi with Mrs Pemberton. Click here to remind yourself of the story of Rama and Sita.
