This week we have been focusing on the story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. We have enjoyed retelling the story with masks and puppets. Year 1 have also been thinking of alternative endings to the story.

We have enjoyed singing ‘When Goldilocks went to the house of the bears’.

Reception have learned the letter sounds: p, i, n. See if you can practise these letters at home. Go on an ‘I spy’ hunt and see what things begin with these sounds.

In Maths we have all been looking at length. Reception have been comparing different lengths of objects and year one have been measuring lengths using non standard measures (cubes).

Finally, we have welcomed the arrival of our new class pets this week. Sam and Sticky our Stick insects!
