Reception

This week we have enjoyed making animal masks…can you spot all the different animals?

We have also learned the sounds: d, o and g this week. How many words can you think of beginning with these sounds? Can you write any?

Year 1

This week Year 1’s have been looking at measures and patterns. We have been looking at how long a metre is and have been measuring things in our classroom using a metre stick. Can you remember how many metres long our playground was? We have also been looking at symmetry and designing symmetrical butterflies. Click here for a symmetry game.

In Literacy we have been retelling the story of the three little pigs. We had our first ‘Big Write’ session where we wrote sentences all by ourselves. We worked really hard to remember: CAPITAL LETTERS, spaces and full stops.
