Time is flying by as we approach the final week of this half term. 

This week we welcomed Violet’s Dad who came to talk to us about his role as a Doctor. The children had fun making ID badges, taking on role of hospital staff! In Reception we have also been thinking about jobs we might want to do when we are older. Why not have some fun on purplemash mashcams to experiment with different jobs! In maths we have been learning about Time this week. Reception have been making their own clocks and Year 1 practising to read the time to the nearest quarter of an hour. Reception have been consolidating their learning of digraphs and trigraphs introduced so far. ‘Phonics Play’ is a great website to play games to help reinforce the children’s learning. 

Next week we will be getting crafty, making lots of Easter crafts as well as learning about The Easter Story and the importance it holds for us.
