In Literacy Year 1’s have been acting our key events from the story ‘It’s Actually My Party’. We have also been using time connectives: First /then / next /after / finally to write sentences about the main events.

In Maths Year 1’s have been finding 2 more and 2 less from a given number to 20. We have also been finding 1 more / 1 less from a given number to 100.

In Maths Reception have been combining groups to solve addition sums. We have also been learning how to partition numbers (to 5) using playdough spots and ladybirds.

We have also joined Year 2 this week to start practising for our Christmas Nativity. We have been busy learning our songs.
