This week in Reception we have been focusing our learning based on the rhyming book ‘Commotion in the Ocean’. We have enjoyed listening to the different sea creature rhymes. We have even made our own rhymes up using the Angel Fish poem as a template. See our brilliant poems and art work in our new display in the infant cloakroom.

In Maths this week we have been learning about how we can share (we also learned the term divide) objects into groups. Click here to have a go at a sharing game. Can you work out if the number is odd or even? How do you know?

We were lucky enough to have another visit to Alice’s pond this week. We are amazed at how many tadpoles there were and how quickly they are growing!

We are looking forward to visiting again soon to see how they grow and develop.
