Each year the PTA host an annual fundraiser at the St Crux Church on Pavement in York.
The venue is used as a tea room and sales venue for charities and we have been lucky enough to host an annual sale there over the past few years. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for School and we usually raise in excess of £1200 on the day by selling bric-a-brac and having a tea room /cafe selling a range of home baked cakes and pastries as well as sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. As well as being a great fundraiser we have lots of fun manning the stalls and running the kitchen for the day. The success of this event is down to everyone getting involved in whatever way they can, from donating bric-a-brac, making food to sell, donating produce and goods as well as helping prepare and being there on the day.
This year the event will take place on Saturday 23rd March 2019 – we will be sending out more information soon but in the meantime, if you are having a clear out and have any childrens / adults books, DVD’s, toys (non-electrical and CE marked), bric-a-brac etc and would like to donate it to us to sell, please keep hold of it (for now! we will be able to store it in due course).
Thank you all in advance and if you have any questions in the meantime please contact a member of the PTA who would be happy to help!
