This half term the children in Willow class will be learning some useful language to talk about their families. They will practise using the different parts of the verbs ‘avoir’ and ‘s’appeller’ to say how many siblings they have and what they are called and other simple descriptive phrases to tell us what they look like etc. Later in the term we will, of course, have some Easter activities and look at similarities and differences in how we and the French celebrate this festival.
Oak class will be learning to talk about pets and animals. They will also be using different parts of the verb ‘avoir’ and any other relevant vocabulary to describe their pets both in terms of appearance and character. We will use question phrases to carry out a class investigation to find out what the most popular pet in our class is. Oak class will, naturally, also celebrate Easter.
