We are heading towards Christmas rapidly and the Christmas Community Afternoon is on the events horizon.

One of the main purposes of the event is to attract those members of our village that do not necessarily have a direct link with the school. I am not sure how popular this occasion will be and have no means of finding out until the day. Wrapped up in this delightful uncertainty, is the need to prepare. With this in mind, please may I ask for your assistance?

Firstly, we would be most grateful for parents/adult volunteers to serve tea, coffee and cakes to our guests on the afternoon. Volunteers will also be royally entertained along with our guests! 

Secondly, we would really appreciate prize donations for the raffle. Nothing too big. A can, bar or a bottle would be great as ideally we would like one small prize per guest. I tend to rig the competition!

The actual afternoon will include a quiz, a raffle, refreshments and a variety of performances led by the children.

Please send in the slip at the bottom of the letter you received a couple of weeks ago if you can help in anyway.
