- The Education Alliance has appointed Veritau Ltd as its Data Protection Officer (DPO) as part of a traded service. The role of the DPO is to monitor our compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and advise on data protection issues. - Under data protection law, individuals have a right to be informed about how we use any personal data that we hold about them. We comply with this right by providing ‘privacy notices’ to individuals where we are processing their personal data, and by having a Data Protection Policy.
