As part of our weather based ‘Blown Away’ topic we have been focusing on rain. We thought this would be suitable given the weather we have had recently!

Year 1 have been producing some lovely rain poems. Keep a look out for these in the classroom. Mrs Pemberton has helped us to produce some wonderful rain art. Reception have also been exploring rain sounds using a variety of musical instruments.

In Maths Year 1 have been focusing on subtraction and ‘finding the difference’ between two numbers. Click here to play Minus Mission.

In Maths Reception have also been practically taking away objects from sets as well as practising their number formation.
