especially warm welcome to the families that are new to our school! Friends of Naburn CE Primary School are a group of parents, family members, staff and community friends that meet to arrange a variety of social events and to raise funds for the benefit of the pupils.
We hope that our newsletters will keep you up to date with the exciting fundraising activities taking place, as well as any other items of interest to the school. We also have a PTA tab on the school website (https://www.naburnschool.com/pta), where you can read minutes of the meetings and find out what we have been up to!
How can I get involved?
We are seeking your support over the coming year. If you would like to learn more about the PTA, meet other parents, or to join us and get involved in organising social events or fundraising activities, please come along to one of our meetings, email us on friendsofnaburnprimary@gmail.com or speak to one of the committee members or class reps. Meetings are held about once every half term and dates will be sent out in the school newsletters as soon as they are arranged. If you have any suggestions or fundraising ideas, then please get in touch! All new ideas and/or members are very welcome!

We would like to remind you of our really easy way to raise funds for the school through easyfundraising.org.uk, just by shopping online. Whenever you want to make a purchase online, simply first go to
http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/naburnschool/. From this easyfundraising website, click through to the supplier you want to buy from (eg. Argos, Amazon, John Lewis etc) to make your purchase. The price is exactly the same. The supplier will then make a donation to the school on your behalf. This really is money for nothing! You can even use the easyfundraising donation reminder, which tells you when a donation is available while you shop online. Just click on the reminder that appears directly in the retailer’s website and you’ll start collecting donations for the school (it’s ad-free!). There’s also a free easyfundraising mobile app if you shop on your mobile or tablet, and remember anyone can use it so please share the link with family and friends to earn more donations! Please remember to use it for all your online Christmas shopping and help us to raise funds for our school from the comfort of your own home!
the playground, but the van will arrive at 9am, so please be sure to have your bags at school for then. We receive money based on the weight of our collection, so please start your clean out now! Bring in as little or as much as you like, it all helps!

Parents Nights Out!
Thanks to the hard work of last year’s committee and all who supported their fundraising events, we now have about £5000 to spend to benefit the pupils. With these funds we aim to improve equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school in general. We would like to ask all parents for their specific ideas on how to spend the funds this year. If you have a great idea for something that would make learning more interesting and exciting, or can see a need for a resource that is not currently available for the children, please pass on your ideas to your class reps, class teachers or committee members!
