This week we have all been learning about Guy Fakes and Remembrance Day. We have produced art work based on these. What facts can you remember about these two special events?

Year 1

This week Year 1 have been learning to order letters of the alphabet and have been thinking of words beginning with each letter. We have also been practising our spellings – please look in your homework book for the new spelling list for this half term. In Maths we have really enjoyed using Geoboards to make shapes and patterns.

Reception

In Maths reception have been focusing on weight. Using language such as ‘heavier’ and ‘lighter’ to describe different weights. We have also been using the Geoboards to make shapes too!

 

In phonics and literacy we have been learning how to write a sentence. Can you write a sentence about the picture below?
