Hi Naburn School!
Sorry I haven’t written for a while but I have been super busy!
My new school is amazing! We have our own class fish! My friend Harrison and I have the job (for the first two weeks) of feeding them!
The best three things about Australia so far are:
- The beaches – they are simply EPIC! The sand is great for making sandcastles. In addition to that the water is warm enough to swim in!
- How kind everyone has been – everyone is so nice. I already have about 10 friends! The teacher and other kids have been really helpful.
- The food – the food is SO YUMMY that I could eat a watermelon 20cm wide and 5 cm tall in 5 big gulps.
Bye and until next time!

Signe’s post:
Hello Naburn School!
It has been a very good time in Australia so far. Even though I have been missing you a lot! How are you?
I find my new school a very nice place but it is humongous compared to Naburn school. I like it because of the nice people there. The school is a place where the people are very kind, I have already found lots of friends here – like Maddy, Charlotte and Leon. There is another difference – here you call your teacher by her first name, for example my teacher is called Margie.
We also went to the beach. It was lots of fun and I dug a hole – it was quite big. My brother and I made a sandcastle and covered it in seaweed.
We all went to the zoo as well. It was a very hot day. Mum, my brother and me had to line up at a very long queue. After that we saw some hippos, some kangaroos, some giraffes, a kookaburra and parrots, and a panda. When that was finished I got a big-eyed teddy – it was a zebra.
I hope everything has gone well!

On our way back from school:
(The school uniform is quite similar – red and blue; You are not allowed to play outside if you are not wearing a school hat – Caspar has already lost his school hat – so he is wearing his own)
